See London's famous clock tower
It’s hard to find a London landmark as famous as Big Ben. Although Big Ben is the name given to the bell inside the Elizabeth Tower, the tower itself has become known by this name now.
Standing at the north end of the Palace of Westminster on the banks of the river Thames, the clock’s tower is almost 100 metres tall and its iconic chimes sounds every hour. The clock tower isn’t open to the general public but if you’re resident in the UK you can arrange a tour by writing to your local MP.
We recommend visiting at night time when the clock faces are illuminated - a perfect selfie opportunity. Take your Apex Duck along for a photo after a stay at Apex Temple Court Hotel and enter our competition to be in for a chance to win a two night break.
